Aventurine had been wandering around the rooms of the ship for perhaps several hours now. He wishes he'd taken a notepad with him or something so he could sketch out the layout, but he had no such tools available. Not unless he drew in the dirt, and that wouldn't do as he had to keep moving (staying still for too long gets you killed, hide then run the first chance you get, Kakava-) and that alone brought back unwelcome memories. Drawing in the sand, like a kid...

So he just keeps a rough picture in his head, eyes tracing the purple and green plants curiously as he walks, slowly but surely mastering his sea legs.....ship legs? What would you call that on a ship with legs? He chuckles lowly, shaking his head. Strange thoughts for a strange place.

The lights flicker on in a room up ahead, and there's a strange rumbling sound, taking the light with it. He blinks, staring at the now obstructed doorway up ahead. He'd been told the plants grew fast but not that fast. Amazing...it's a good thing he wasn't standing there when it happened. How lucky.

There's some shuffling and what sounds like a voice on the other side, but it's hard to make out. The bramble and vines are quite thick...

"Hello? If someone's back there, you miiiight want to back up for a second. I'm gonna try to break these down!" He calls out, widening his stance and raising his arm, mustering what imaginary energy he can. The cornerstone shards seem to hum in his pocket, and something pulses painfully behind his eyes, but he feels the power at his fingertips.

With a snap, he will attempt to overwhelm the plants by throwing a rush of gambling chips at it very fast.
