“That would be lovely.” Kaeya can’t help but silently agree with this Ratio fella thinking Aventurine shouldn’t be out here. “You could’ve run into worse things being out here, Aventurine,” Kaeya mentions. He partially hopes this man is hungry enough to actually risk going out here in his condition. Considering they are both newer passengers, who knows what’s exactly on the boat.
“Sure you are~” Kaeya muses. “Let’s see how well you keep your end of the bargain.”
Kaeya feels a tug on his top as Kaeya gets himself stable. Seems they both needed a minute to adjust to things. Kaeya normally runs pretty cold, but the feeling of the heat on Aventurine definitely is a concern. He makes a mental point to see exactly what’s wrong with this man.
“Alright then,” Kaeya responds and does what he is told. It’s a little amusing that he’s a captain taking orders from a (most likely) feverish man. Kaeya is hoping that Aventurine’s brain, if it is a fever, isn’t cooked enough to send them on a wild goose chase. He keeps fast enough pace to make it to the end of the hall and turn right, taking a minute to look over the place.
The roots are still thick, several had punctured into the wall, and the roots on the floor shuffle a bit. He feels himself tense up at the idea of if these plants are moving on their own accord or if its just the boat’s rocking. He tries not to think about it. He takes a deep breath and asks, “Where to next?”
He decides to pipe up and add, “So... other than the ghosts, sentient boat, and vines, am I missing anything else when it comes to anything noteworthy on the boat? Anything you’ve noticed?”
