Lalli's expression changes once he hears about rocks and Topaz's name. He looks understanding but rather unimpressed. He confirms with an even expression, "I understand now. You're one of the people with that really boring boss who collects rocks. Very troubling to deal with. A shame." He seems to completely ignore the bigger words, as he had heard of some of them before. If Lalli caught any of the larger positions, he certainly seemed to pass them over his head with reckless abandon.

Lalli doesn't know what to do about the strange 'warp trotter'. He squints at the thing and carefully moves a little closer, almost like one would do when seeing a troll and trying to slip away from it. He blinks owlishly at the strange thing with no eyes and huffs, "Weird..." Aventurine had given him enough of an explanation for him to understand briefly, enough not to make any reckless actions. He'll trust this for now. He pauses at Topaz's words, "A Syn-what? Don't have something like that." What a weird word.

He lifts his arms in the air a little a gesture that would look like surrender and shakes his head, and waves his hands. "No, I don't want to touch the weird warp thing," he states plainly. It... may take him time to adjust to this new creature.
