As has been kind of routine lately, Aventurine had been in the lounge with some snacks and a game of solitaire to keep him company, staying occupied and awake without having to focus on the visions his own mind tormented him with...
So he very much notices the- is that a Borisin???- enter the lounge. He can't completely contain the jolt of alarm seeing such a person here, but he remains seated, watching for now. For one, the wolf...person doesn't have the usual armor he's come to expect. He's also rather quiet in his words, his movements refined and controlled. It sparks Aventurine's curiosity, to say the least.
He doesn't know who or what the wolf-person spoke to, but they seemed to disappear, leaving the new person confused. They look down at their furred hands, frowning. Hm...probably a ghost sighting.
Aventurine takes pity on the guy, clearing his throat to better give away his presence. "I'm not aware of any shifts either. But if you have nowhere to be, you're welcome to join me here for a chat, sir," he calls out, giving an inviting smile. The gambler tilts his head, too tired to bother standing at the moment. "I haven't seen you around before. Did you just arrive?"
