So this guy is his canon's ~Emperor of Darkness~ and is essentially a being of darkness--being out in the light too long will kill him, and he can see and navigate in the dark just fine. He's also got the ability to sense darkness; in the kids' show parlance of his canon this would also refer to strong negative emotional energy. How's that going to play with all the darkness in the prompts here? I'm cool with nerfs, if need be!
