fauxcalors: (thinking)

[Furina takes this all in with a blank expression carefully affixed to her face. Neuvillette has always been good at reading her, regardless, but...]

Thank you, Neuvillette. I will keep that in mind.

[Keep it in mind, and come running for him should she encounter water in any such shade. She shudders at the thought of it--dissolving like sea foam. At the very least, if he is correct in thinking that it would take her, too...she wouldn't be left weeping on a throne, right?

And then, she frowns.]

You are certain this water would affect me thus?

[He speaks with the gravitas of the Iudex before the Court; with the certainty of a man giving dire warning. Furina isn't sure she wants to know...but she has to ask.]

Please, Neuvillette. I ask only out of concern--here, we must trust one another. I am...doing my best, on that front. I would implore you to share your burdens with me, as well.

[It's not like she can help him in any other way, after all. Here, the name of Furina de Fontaine holds little weight and absolutely no power. The attention of the woman who calls that name her own, though...to Neuvillette, at least, it might mean something.]
