It's actually kind of funny to see someone more than half a foot shorter than him try to look down his nose at him. It does make him look more smug, though, so fair enough, he guesses.

"Oh, absolutely not." He thinks he's gotten a read on the man's personality now, and that personality is 'as deliberately provocative as humanly--or whatever-ly--possible'. He knows what people like that are like! "You could, however, decide that you were bored of this particular game. Or you could decide you wanted to fight about it!" He tilts Kao Ci up, so the edge is pointing at Glowy Flying Guy, instead of the point, so he's not walking towards threatening to make Shang Qinghua skewer him--but the edge isn't really less threatening, he could send a sword glare out just as easily. He might not know that, though. "Really, I'll be fascinated to learn what your decision is." As long as he thinks of this as like dealing with Sha Hualing and the other annoying teenage demons of the courts that think there's no place for a human around Mobei-Jun, this is actually a remarkably easy interaction. It's like when Sha Hualing decided to try and steal the Qiong Ding peak sign for bragging rights.
