fauxcalors: (thinking)

[A polite befuddlement falls over Furina at Neuvillette's mention of a 'traveling friend;' given the context, though, she wonders if he means the Traveler--the Outlander who had blazed a trail through nations and Fatui alike. Her informants most recent sightings put them across the sea, in Sumeru...she'd been growing ever anxious of their likely arrival on Fontaine's shores, and had been losing sleep over how, exactly, she was going to play their confrontation.

'Friend,' Neuvillette had called them. How bizarre.]

That is the rub of it, yes. More than simply the 'where,' there are the hows and whys--after all, to snatch up the helm of Fontaine's Court...that is not the action of a friend.

[And nor was it, after all, the actions of just any mere enemy.]

Have you encountered anything else in your time here? I--earlier, I thought I had seen...a ghost, I suppose, is the best way I can phrase it.
