There's so many things I wouldn't have known about, even in my own city, if I had been born a hundred years prior. Or even fifty, or ten. So many ways to learn and share information. It's... also kind of the only social interaction I really had, talking to people through those boxes and that system. I never knew their faces or voices or real names, only their pseudonyms. But we would share information and speculate on what sort of truth might be behind myths. And that was what I had."

Maybe it's sad, but... forums about the supernatural are basically what he's had. That's about it.

"And I imagine it is? I've... the only plays I've been to are amateur ones, or free ones at festivals like you said. I wasn't allowed much free time, so I had to be choosy as to what I did for fun. And I can read faster than I can listen."
