[The sound of her voice, of course, brings everything to a full stop.

One of them - or rather, at least one of them - must be false. Logic dictates as much. And Neuvillette (will always choose mercy, given the chance) hesitates, before making the decision that makes the light of his power go dim and the rain around them settle back to the storm's normal levels.

Given the option, he'd much rather believe in the Furina that's alive.]

Furina?

[The lack of formal address is, perhaps, a sign that something has shifted... Or perhaps just a side effect of the situation they're in.]

It's... good to see you unharmed.

[As is often the case, Neuvillette's voice carries the majority of his emotion, rather than his face - not that it's possible to see much of it anyway, in this darkness. The relief is clear and genuine, that of someone who has just come away from a precipice.

But something is still not quite right. There is no familiar glow of a Vision at her waist, which Neuvillette, of all people, would surely be able to sense. And when he closes his eyes, breathes in, and concentrates...

The presence of the curse that was Furina's only blessing from the true Focalors remains, a contamination in the otherwise pure water. Just what is going on?]
