I do not think that to be the case.

[In contrast to the Wanderer's sharp edges, Neuvillette remains calm in the center of the storm. Ever a member of the legal profession, he simply presents his evidence and the flow of his logic, having paused only to let a particularly loud boom of thunder pass.]

Furina carries upon her person a Hydro-aspected curse related to the fulfillment of Fontaine's prophecy. As from my perspective, the prophecy has already played out, if it were simply a matter of modifying our memories, she should no longer bear it, and yet she does.

[To say nothing, of course, of her Vision - but Focalors' curse of immortality is as far into the secrets of Fontaine as he is willing to divulge. Being granted by Neuvillette himself, even in the event Furina's Vision were physically removed from her, he would be able to sense its power. It's his own power, after all.]

I do not believe that this curse could be replicated by an outside force. Therefore, the most logical conclusion is that we are physically from different times.
