[Well, one part of that assessment is certainly true. The curse doesn't impact Furina's abilities as the Hydro Archon in the slightest.]

That's fine; it can hardly be expected that everyone is privy to the secrets of their nation's Archon, after all.

[Most Archons had some sort of familiar or assistant to be their right hand, a role Neuvillette played for Furina and will continue to play, outwardly, until she's comfortable in the alternative. He's never felt a need to advertise himself as the Hydro Dragon; his power over Hydro is more useful here than is typical given the complete unknowns of their circumstances, but thus far, few people have shown any interest in the origin of that power.]

At this point, such an alliance is little more than the exchange of information we have uncovered in any case. The circumstances do not appear to be actively dangerous, at least at the moment.

[That could change at any time, of course. If it were to change, then it would be for the better to have another person who would be at least somewhat inclined to look out for the all-too-human Furina. If Neuvillette has any ulterior motive at all in this, it is her safety.]

I came to the upper decks alone, but I will inform Furina of the arrangement as soon as I return.
