"I have fairly personal experience with a ghost affecting their environment--Gulda had the whole tower rebuilt and staffed around her at night, until her grave goods were returned and she could return to rest. None of the others have been quite so dramatic, but then, they didn't involve buildings that had been three-quarters dismantled since their deaths. I suppose I have no confidence that this is truly ghosts, since they do not act like the ghosts I've known, but if it is some intentional effect, it's odd that not everyone can perceive them."
